Responsibilities:
- Contact regular and prospective customers to solicit orders
- Make recommendations, based on customer requirements and needs
- Provide advice and feedback to clients on products, prices and credit terms
- Develop cost estimates alongside the Estimator
- Monitors jobs for accuracy, completeness and timeliness
- Fax or email quote estimates to customers
- Completes work tickets and forwards to Production
- Investigates and resolves customer complaints
- Obtains credit information on prospective customers
- Analyse documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labour estimates
- Consult with clients and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Prepare estimates using company formula
- Review labour and material requirements to decide on the most cost effective procedure
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers
- Liaise with client discussing their requirements
- Fax or email official quotes
- Perform general duties
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Account Management and/or Estimating experience in a carton print environment
- Must have strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Outlook
