Responsibilities

• Contacts regular and prospective customers to solicit orders
• Makes recommendations, based on customer requirements and needs
• Provide advice and feedback to clients on products, prices and credit terms
• Develops cost estimates
• Monitors jobs for accuracy, completeness and timeliness
• Fax or email quote estimates to customers
• Completes work tickets and forwards to Production
• Investigates and resolves customer complaints
• Analyse documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labour estimates
• Consults with clients and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Review labour and material requirements to decide on the most cost effective procedure

Skills

• 3 – 5 years packaging estimating experience essential
• Previous pharmaceutical carton and package insert estimating experience an advantage

Qualifications

• PIFSA Estimating certification an advantage
• Matric
